We Want Your Limericks!

Submission Guidelines
THE MAINE LIMERICK PROJECT
All Limericks must be Maine-related, either through a place name, person(s), or recognizable Maine theme. Please include your name and contact info. We will consider posting Limericks anonymously, or using the author's first name and town of residence only, but we need to know where to send the five bucks.

Filth and depravity are encouraged, as are multiple submissions. Be filthy, be funny, be forewarned: the Maine Limerick Project is not for the uptight or politically correct. So get out your Gazetteer and have fun!

NOTES: It's not necessary to use the place name in the rhyme. We welcome Limericks of multiple stanzas, so long as they fit the overall guidelines of the Project. We also welcome topical Limericks, as long as they relate in some way to Maine.
What is a Limerick?
Limericks are meant to be recited or read aloud. Therefore, it's essential that your submissions SCAN. What does this mean? This link will help you find the proper rhythm.
